(8-Noviembre-2022).-<\/strong><\/em> Con la finalidad de embellecer la ciudad y fortalecer las acciones de cuidado al medio ambiente, el Gobierno Municipal por medio de la Direcci\u00f3n de Parques y Jard\u00ednes, emplea un programa de reforestaci\u00f3n para plantar mil 100 encinos y fresnos en las diversas \u00e1reas recreativas de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p>La meta del programa es sembrar esa cantidad de \u00e1rboles hasta diciembre y las principales zonas definidas para ello son: Parque Mendoza, Plaza Zaragoza y Plaza del Maestro.<\/p>\n<p>En el Parque Mendoza ya se han plantado cien \u00e1rboles y actualmente se analiza cu\u00e1les ser\u00e1n las siguiente locaciones para continuar con la reforestaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El director de Parques y Jard\u00ednes municipales, Jos\u00e9 Valdemar Sandoval Ortega, explic\u00f3 que se seleccionaron los encinos y fresnos porque son \u00e1rboles adecuados a la regi\u00f3n y el clima de Nuevo Laredo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLas \u00e1reas verdes son protecciones naturales, el microclima que se genera ah\u00ed es muy agradable y por esta raz\u00f3n pedimos a la ciudadan\u00eda que nos apoye a cuidar el medio ambiente para que los nuevos \u00e1rboles crezcan sanamente y podamos disfrutar sus beneficios\u201d, recalc\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Con esa misma iniciativa, el funcionario coment\u00f3 que mediante el apoyo de los vecinos en la colonia Lomas del R\u00edo, se plantaron 50 \u00e1rboles para reforestar ese sector.<\/p>\n<p>Otros beneficios que conlleva la reforestaci\u00f3n son: aumentar la disponibilidad de agua, previene la erosi\u00f3n del suelo, refuerza barreras forestales, regula el clima y conserva la biodiversidad.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-33329 aligncenter\"
