Durante el EcoFest 2026 del Gobierno Municipal del alcalde Carlos Pe\u00f1a Ortiz, la senadora Maki Esther Ortiz Dom\u00ednguez destac\u00f3 las iniciativas para enfrentar los retos ambientales en M\u00e9xico y lograr transitar a un pa\u00eds con cuidado m\u00e1s estricto del entorno.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abLos desaf\u00edos ambientales como el cambio clim\u00e1tico, la p\u00e9rdida de biodiversidad, la contaminaci\u00f3n y el deterioro de los ecosistemas nos exigen actuar con decisi\u00f3n y visi\u00f3n de largo plazo\u00bb, dijo al destacar que desde el Senado de la Rep\u00fablica ha impulsado diversas iniciativas orientadas a fortalecer la protecci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y promover un modelo de desarrollo sostenible.<\/p>\n<p>Ante los presentes, ciudadanos y estudiantes, la legisladora, presidenta de la Comisi\u00f3n de Medio Ambiente, Recursos Naturales y Cambio Clim\u00e1tico, asegur\u00f3 que el cuidado al medio ambiente debe ligarse a la econom\u00eda circular, \u00abse trata de eliminar los productos de un solo uso, como pl\u00e1sticos y utensilios desechables, y que las personas y empresas aprendamos a reutilizar, a reciclar y a reusar\u00bb, asegur\u00f3<\/p>\n<p>La senadora comparti\u00f3 el pres\u00eddium con Nohem\u00ed Alem\u00e1n Hern\u00e1ndez, secretaria de Desarrollo Urbano y Medio Ambiente del Municipio y representante del alcalde Carlos Pe\u00f1a Ortiz; el regidor Jorge Alfredo Santa Ana Castro; Jos\u00e9 Antonio Ch\u00e1vez Herrera, secretario de Servicios P\u00fablicos; Roberto Tadeo Luebbert Iberri, rector de la UTTN; Cristina Aguilar
