Con el respaldo del Alcalde Carlos Pe\u00f1a Ortiz, se llev\u00f3 a cabo la inauguraci\u00f3n del Campeonato Nacional de Handball de Primera Divisi\u00f3n y Ascenso, evento en el que el estado de Tamaulipas buscar\u00e1 obtener su lugar en la Liga Premier de Primera Divisi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El Instituto Municipal del Deporte participa de manera activa en la organizaci\u00f3n del torneo, aportando la log\u00edstica necesaria y ofreciendo hospedaje en la villa ol\u00edmpica del Polideportivo a algunos de los equipos participantes.<\/p>\n<p>En esta edici\u00f3n del campeonato cuenta con la presencia de selecciones provenientes de Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, Veracruz, Quintana Roo, San Luis Potos\u00ed y Guanajuato, quienes se medir\u00e1n en esta justa deportiva
