Secretar\u00eda de Seguridad P\u00fablica Municipal, Tr\u00e1nsito y Vialidad, da seguimiento a la instrucci\u00f3n del Presidente Municipal, Carlos Pe\u00f1a Ortiz y desarrolla un operativo permanente para la protecci\u00f3n de los ciudadanos que cruzan el puente internacional Benito Ju\u00e1rez.<\/p>\n<p>Durante este per\u00edodo, elementos de la Polic\u00eda de Proximidad realizan rondines peatonales y patrullaje en forma intermitente y al dar inicio al ciclo escolar se destina una guardia fija en el cruce Reynosa-Hidalgo, donde permanece tambi\u00e9n la Guardia Nacional, manteniendo el Municipio el recorrido de unidades de la Guardia Estatal.<\/p>\n<p>Esta modalidad de vigilancia es la respuesta del Alcalde de Reynosa a la demanda de mayor seguridad por parte de padres de familia y visitantes que utilizan el cruce internacional hacia las ciudades de Hidalgo y McAllen, Texas, entre otras y desde el vecino pa\u00eds hacia esta localidad.<\/p>\n<p>A nombre del Presidente Municipal, el Secretario de Seguridad P\u00fablica Municipal, Geovanni Barrios Moreno, invita a la poblaci\u00f3n a hacer uso del N\u00famero de Emergencias 911 en caso de ver en riesgo su
